PayPal is a new system for secure payments on the Internet. Through PayPal you can  make payments using any of the big credit cards like Visa or Mastercard and more!
Dollars
As it is a USA based business, all transactions are conducted in US Dollars, but all prices on this site are shown in pounds sterling with an approximate
conversion to US Dollars. You will be charged the dollar amount and this will show up on your shopping cart as well as your credit card statement, etc. You
will normally find minor deviations from the exact sterling amount when you get your credit card statement.
PayPal Account
The first time you use PayPal, you will need to open an account - it is FREE and very simple to do. Just continue to add items to your shopping cart and
register your new account when you go to the ‘checkout’. Subsequently you only need to identify yourself through your email address and password - your credit card details will already have been registered when you opened your
account. For non-USA residents there is a little complication in that you will be asked to agree to a $1.95 charge to your credit card. However, your account will be re-credited with your $1.95 later - so it really is FREE!
Shopping Cart
When you see the PayPal shopping cart button - just click it to add the item to your shopping cart. The shopping cart will show up as a separate window and
will be updated with each item you add. You can change the quantity or delete the item whenever you want. The shopping cart contents are held on your computer until you check out - so no need to worry about your computer
crashing or if you need to stop and resume later. The first time you shop there will be a delay whilst the shopping cart is downloaded - please be patient!
When you finish and checkout you can sign up for your PayPal account, if you haven’t already done so, and choose how you want to pay.
Other Benefits of your PayPal Account
As an added bonus, with your PayPal account, you can send money using your credit card or bank account to more or less anyone else in the world who has
an email account! They set up a PayPal account and can receive money into their bank account or spend it on-line! Interest is also paid on any balance in your PayPal account.
